Benjamin B. Armellini, MS
Partner – Portfolio Manager
Benjamin Armellini has experience in all facets of the firm ranging from investment management to wealth planning and serves as an excellent communicator to our client base. He currently leads the firm’s quantitative strategies by developing proprietary financial and econometric models, which assist the Investment Policy Committee in security selection, risk management, and trading. He has particular expertise in macroeconomic, equity, and credit research.
Benjamin is highly involved in our Active Risk Management process, which includes stop-loss price selection and scenario analysis. He serves as a portfolio manager and actively participates in weekly Investment Policy Committee meetings, in addition to a regular review of firm-wide, as well as client-specific, asset allocations, sector exposures, and security holdings. He helps co-author firm Strategy Updates in addition to other market-related publications.
Benjamin’s previous experience includes work at NorthCoast Asset Management. He graduated from Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Economics and played four years for the Bullets lacrosse team, which set a school record for wins (20) his senior season. Benjamin also holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Financial Analysis from the University of San Francisco, School of Management. He is currently pursuing the Financial Risk Manager (FRM®) designation.
Benjamin is a member of the American Economic Association and Economic Science Association. He is a proud supporter of the Olympic Club Foundation and also serves as a member of the Kent School Alumni Council for his Alma mater.
Non-work related hobbies: Coaching lacrosse, yoga, trail running, and traveling.
