Jack Sondag works as Director, Strategy & Operations at Main Street Research. He leads the firm’s long-term strategy for efficiency and growth while maintaining the boutique-style client service and hospitality that Main Street Research is known for.

Jack has consistently demonstrated a keen interest in building the systems, partnerships, and processes that support the firm’s expanding client base. He has driven many of the firm’s transitions to sophisticated technology platforms and continues to dilligence the technology frontier to ensure our systems are modern for employees and clients alike. Today, he works in partnership with the firm’s leadership to set and execute its operational and technology strategy — from AI integrations and workflow automation to process improvements across every team — and serves as a key operational advisor as the firm scales.

Jack graduated Cum Laude from Santa Clara University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Retail Studies and Marketing, and studied organizational psychology at the University of Cape Town.

Outside of work, Jack is a photographer and an avid hiker and skier. He is based out of the firm’s headquarters in Sausalito, CA, and lives in San Francisco.
